Set right on the lakefront, Villa La Mirabella dates back to the mid 19th century. It offers a large park with swimming pool overlooking Lake Como, and free indoor parking. The rooms have a classic design.
All renovated rooms at La Mirabella are air-conditioned, and come with a flat-screen TV. Some have views of the lake, and some overlook the garden.
The villa features a reading room, plus a dining hall and veranda with lake view,a sweet Italian breakfast is served daily. The restaurant is open for dinner, while snacks are available during the day.
There is a small mooring post in front of the villa for private boats and water taxis to tour the lake. Ferries and other boats depart from the dock 150 metres away.
Guests have discounts at the golf clubs in Menaggio and Cadenabbia. Villa Carlotta Museum is also just 150 metres away, while buses to Como, Menaggio and St.Moritz stop nearby.
